Terms and conditions

PAYMENT 

1. By leaving your computer with We Fix Computers for repair, the customer agrees to a

minimum charge of R150 valuation fee unless otherwise stated by a staff member. 

2. We fix Computers and require payment for any special orders before the order is placed.

3. Payment is due in full upon completion of work done by We Fix Computers unless a different 

arrangement has been made

4. All invoiced work must be paid for upon collection of goods unless stated otherwise by We 

Fix Computers.

5. All goods supplied by We Fix Computers, remain the property of We Fix Computers until 

payment has been received in full.


DATA SECURITY 

1. We Fix Computers will only access data when necessary, such as when there is an issue with

a file or if a data transfer has occurred to ensure files open correctly) 

2. If data may be lost while working on a customer's computer, We Fix Computers will save data

wherever possible, provided the customer agrees to the charges. 

3. While computers can recover data when possible, customers are responsible for regularly

backing up their data in case of loss. 

4. When data transfer occurs, the customer has the right and it is our recommendation to

check that all data has been transferred correctly before further work is carried out. 


RETURNS

1. Customers have the right to return unopened, unused products within 30 days (as this is 

within the consumer rights)

2. If customers choose to return a product because they've changed their mind, it is at 

Computers Plus's discretion to offer either a refund or store credit. Please note that there

may be a restocking fee to cover any losses incurred, as the items cannot be resold as new.

WARRANTY 

1. New products sold by We Fix Computers come with a manufacturer warranty. If there is a

warranty issue, We Fix Computers can communicate with the suppliers on behalf of the

customer. 

2. Secondhand products come with a warranty stated on the individual item. It is the

customer's responsibility to check this warranty before the purchase 

3. Repairs completed by We Fix Computers have a warranty of 6 months unless stated

differently on the worksheet. 

4. Virus removal comes with a two-week warranty. If the same virus reappears within this

period, the cost of removing it will be deducted from the price of reinstalling Windows.

However, if a different virus appears, our standard charges will apply.  


WARRANTIES DO NOT APPLY TO THE FOLLOWING:

1. Repair, replacement of periodic maintenance due to normal wear and tear 

2. Physical damage
